Magic Mushrooms reduce Oxidative Stress.

Magic mushrooms reduce oxidative stress in the body.

Psilocybin mushrooms act upon the central nervous system, and the peripheral nervous system because serotonin is both a neurotransmitter and a hormone. 5ht2a activation reduces oxidative stress in the cell - oxidative stress is a natural byproduct of the metabolic process- but excessive oxidation damages cells. It’s natural as we age for cells repair to take longer - we can build cellular resilience with psilocybin, there are 5ht2a receptors in every cell of our bodies.

Psilocybin, mushrooms improve mental health, increase emotional and physical well-being.

Mushrooms are easy to grow, are non-toxic, and have a high therapeutic index,

Serotonin is OLD

By Georgina Bailey

The function of serotonin throughout evoultion has been as a regulator of cell health- and to reduce oxidative stress. What were life conditions first like for these creatures? In order to make serotonin- TRYPTOPHAN must be combusted with oxygen. Plants have the nessessary enzimes to “make it so”. Humans do not have the biochemical pathways to make tryptophan (the precursor to serotonin, melatonin, and niacin) so we eat other animals to get this essential amino acid- which is essential to life.

As evoultion got more “complicated” the function of serotonin adapted- but always retained it’s evolutionary function.

BTW…. Serotonin is just another derivative of tryptophan (just like psilocybin is…)

Real footage* of inside a cell after psilocybin binds to it’s 5ht2a receptor.

Here is a cute video I made demonstrating the 2nd messenger cascade psilocybin induces within the cell.

This applies to every cell in your body that has 5ht2a receptors :)

*** STARTLE WARNING***sorry about the big BOOM at the start of the video. Brace yourself. I jump every time.- however- you don’t even need the sound for this- I suggest you mute and enjoy the next 30 seconds of tom (cat) foolery.

3 things they don’t want you to know about eating shrooms.

Three things they don’t want you to know abut eating shrooms.

If you control the funnel of information- it is easy to control the market.

This reminds me of the story of Juneteenth. Literally - white men controling the flow of information…to our detriment.

(Am I wrong tho?)

I like the work of Paul Stamets - AND I will question the cognitive dissonace on why he has never shared the importance of phosphate groups in the role of homeostasis.

I like the work of Paul Stamets- AND I will question why he’s never elucidated to the antioxidant propties of the mushroom.

I like the work of Paul Stamets- AND I will question his narraritive on psilocybin - which is shaping public policy.

I like the work of Paul Stamets - but…

As an autistic af Black ass human being- I am HIGHLY suspicious of the lack of transparency after discovering for myself that the people we trust to know , either do not know what they are talking about (unlikely) OR are suppressing information.

Just sayin,

(Enjoy the graphics - My Mind was blown on the importance of phosphate groups - which gives credence to psilocybin supplementation as is Phosphate groups are important in activating proteins so that the proteins can perform particular functions in cells.)

HAPPY PRIDE!!!! Dildo Dose - How to measure your personal magic mushroom microdose.

Who would throw contempt towards a rainbow colored dildo- used as a visual aid for microdosing? (Booooo)

As we alllll know - rainbow dick is great - just like shrooms:)

When it get’s to microdosing- WHO determines what is right for you?

I have always questioned the cookie stamp protocol - 3 days on 2 days off? Is this how we take anti depressants? Vitamins? Food intake?

I encourage you to create your own protocol - geared towards your needs.

When in doubt- start slow.

But never doubt that mushrooms are effective.

#dildodose

How do you know if you took too much? Don’t go balls deep(huge dose), when you just want the tip(microdose).

Check in with yourself using these guidelines.

Microdosing is dynamic. What works for one- may not work for another. What works for you today- may not tomorrow (for a variety of reasons). However- from the tip- to the balls - (micro to macro) you will ALWAYS garner a positive benefit from ingesting mushrooms because of the rich source of the essential amino acid tryptophan- which is NESSESSARY to make setotonin, melatonin, and niacin…

Brain Energy

Can shrooms improve brain metabolism?

According to Dr. Christopher Palmer in his (amazing BTW) book examining mental illnesses in a new way - he highlights that all mental diseases can be attributed to metabolic disorders of the brain.

Ummmmm…. Yes.

Did someone say mitochondria???

He did an excellent job of explaining the science behnd his theroy on why there’s such variety in expression in mental diseases that ultimately have 1 cause.

*****

It’s all down to energetics and improving the function of the organ.

  • Chronic stress is literally killing you.

  • Life is a metabolic disorder (my opinion)

  • Reduce stressors - improve metabolism.

Can psilocybin help with that?

People!!!!! 5ht2a activation improves the way mitochondria function - In ADDITION reducing oxidative stress in the cell. Working from the bottom up we can see how this tiny mushroom has huge implications for every reason on this planet.

Is this drug safe?

How safe are magic mushrooms really? Find out the truth behind psilocybin’s safety profile.

Let’s talk about the Therapeutic Index of psilocybin.

Almost 500 years ago to the Swiss physician (and Boss Man) Paracelsus wrote

“The right dose differentiates a poison from a remedy.”

The therapeutic index is a measure of the safety and effectiveness of a medication. It compares the amount of drug needed to produce a desired therapeutic effect to the amount of drug that can cause harmful side effects.
A higher therapeutic index means the drug is safer and more effective, while a lower therapeutic index means the drug is riskier and less effective.

The therapeutic index is calculated by dividing the median lethal dose (LD50) of a drug by the median effective dose (ED50) of the same drug.

** The median lethal dose (LD50) of a drug is the dose at which 50% of the test population dies from - while the median effective (ED50) dose is The dose of a medication that produces a specified effect in 50% of recipients. These values are typically determined through animal testing and are used to determine appropriate dosages for human use.

The resulting number (dividing LD50 by ED50) indicates the range between the dose that produces therapeutic effects and the dose that causes toxic effects.

A larger therapeutic index means it is safer to use the drug. The HIGER the number, the safer the drug- with a much wider potential for multiple conditions.

So, for example, if a drug has an LD50 of 100mg and an ED50 of 20mg, the therapeutic index would be 5

100/20= 5.

A therapeutic index of 1 means that the drug is equally as likely to produce therapeutic effects as it is to produce toxic effects. This is dangerous stuff. No bueno.

The Registry of Toxic Effects of Chemical Substances assigns psilocybin a high therapeutic index of 641; for comparison, the therapeutic index of Zoloft is 141 .

The therapeutic index of psilocybin is high

(The Registry of Toxic Effects of Chemical Substances (RTECS) is a database of toxicological information compiled, maintained, and updated by The National Instituteo for Occupational Saftey & Health).

What is the Lethal Dose of shrooms tho?

Remember the LD50 - the median lethal dose is the dose at which 50% of the test population dies from - and the test population for shrooms being rats and rabbits.

In rats, psilocybin the median lethal dose (LD50) when administered orally is 280 milligrams per kilogram (mg/kg), approximately one and a half times that of caffeine.

When administered intravenously in rabbits, psilocybin's LD50 is approximately 12.5 mg/kg.

On average Psilocybin comprises approximately 1% of the weight of Psilocybe cubensis mushrooms. This means nearly 3.7 lbs of dried mushrooms, or 37 lbs of fresh mushrooms, would be required for a 130 lb person to reach the 280 mg/kg LD50 value of rats.

37 pounds of mushrooms to reach the LD50 of rats…

That’s the weight of a full grown 4 year old (a whole ass kindergartener).

Why I ONLY microdose with mushrooms.

What makes microdosing with mushrooms different than acid?

Honestly, I love it. It’s the freedom for me.

Now that the “pandemic is over” and some heads have been cleared - it occurred to me how little of a social network I have - and how that would have impacted me during the worst of times.

Things like acid, molly, DMT even (if you’re not inclined to do the thing yourself), REQUIRE you to have a good safe social network IN ADDITION to extra cash (or crypto currency if using darker alternatives) to access your “mental health”.

My wallet has never been built like that - depending on the supply of another is saturated with the unexpected.

I have learned it is best to do for yourself - and teach another if they want to learn.

Food is medicine.

Mushrooms are food.

Brain food that does the body good…(more on the amazing powers ofpsilocybin ….eventually)

Bro’ ….I am NOT depending on the powers that be for my dinner.

Mushrooms help build self sufficiency and emotional resilience in the worst of times …

Focus on the purpose not the pain…shrooms help with that.

Just sayin,

G
